Iztaccíhuatl summit
On this challenge, you'll be accompanied by our federally certified mountain guides (SECTUR). Our adventure begins at your hotel at 11 a.m., where we'll begin the trek to Paso de Cortés. We'll check in and continue to La Joyita. We'll set up base camp. We'll acclimatize at 3,964 meters above sea level. We'll have dinner at 4 p.m. and go to bed between 5 and 6 p.m.
We wake up at 12:00 a.m. to eat. The summit climb begins at 1:00 a.m. We will ascend to the 100 Refuge, located at 4,711 meters above sea level, to rest for a 15-minute period. The final attack begins from this point, and we will make one of the most difficult ascents of the entire trek to reach the first 5,000 meters above sea level. The summit is only 2.7 km away, approximately 3:30 hours of hiking. We reach the halfway point of our trek, "the well-deserved summit at 5,224 meters above sea level," where you can take incredible photographs of the views. We return to base camp around 2:00 p.m. to pack up our base camp and return to the starting point.

TEOTEOLOTITLA (Tetlelotl)
Within the area of eruptions of the Popocatépetl volcano, which is the currently active building in the volcanic complex, with an age later than 22 ka. It is characterized by the growth of a cone from a central conduit from which numerous lava flows of up to 22 km in length and various Plinian eruptions have been emitted. On the NE flank, flank activity has its maximum expression in the El Ombligo area, from where the Nealticán Lavas were emitted and surrounded by lahars, is the Teoteolotitla or Tetlelotl, a cone of volcanic tuffs prior to Popocatépetl.
It's a tour inside a lahare, where you'll find an ecosystem of oaks, madrone trees, Mexican ash trees, prickly pear cactus, white almond trees, red dahlia trees, rosemary cactus, opossums, and red-tailed eagles, among others. A place full of magic and charm.
